As a part of our Oga community, we wanted to spend a day visiting the women we adore, our "weavers". The women we don't talk about much but who are traditionally called "artisans" who have been practicing ancient crafts to make a living for their families, but are so much more than that.

These women have devoted themselves to being true visionaries, creative thinkers, and entrepreneurs. Their strength shines across, as these women are in every household, working in the few hours they get during the day, tirelessly striving to create more work, save old crafts, and increase their self-worth.
We got to visit these houses and meet the women who have all taken up diverse forms of crafts that reminded us of our childhood homes.

We grew up seeing these art forms in every house, and even today, they happen to be the most commonly used crafts around the globe.
Here is Learning about the vibrant skills these women carry, and understanding their struggles to carry forward these art forms, we wanted to celebrate their work with a little capsule range of products made by them.
