Oga uses its mind as a repository of observations and impressions to create these pieces. The ups and downs of a very cyclic life influence our work. As we create, we tend to have multiple conversations with each handmade piece we create which further results in the creation of art that is layered and at multiple levels.
This piece focuses on the use of objects from daily life at a ranch, miniature animals, its elements, chariot races and combines them through weaving and textile.The juxtaposing of all these elements is rooted in a surrealist tradition. The uncommon narrative generates a sense of curiosity and unusual visual aesthetics for the viewer to decipher.
